3 Simple Steps for the heart --- for Salvation

A

Admit that you are a sinner.

Romans 3:23 "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God."

I John 1:8 "If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us."

B

Believe that Christ died for your sins and that He is the only way to come to God.

I Peter 3:18a "For Christ also suffered once for sins, the just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God...

C

Confess with your mouth and believe in your heart that Jesus Christ died for your sins and God raised Him from the dead. confess and receive eternal life.

Romans 10:9 "If you confess with your mouth the lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved."

John 1:12 "But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name."

Pray a prayer admitting you are a sinner lost without Jesus Christ, believe that Jesus meant what He said, if you believe you will become His child and then ask Him to come into your heart.

What should you do now that you asked Jesus to come into your heart and change you. First of all remember you can trust Jesus with everything in your life and you now have His spirit living in you to help you. I John 4:13 "By this we know that we abide in Him, and He in us, because He has given us of His spirit."

1. Pray everyday. Talk to Jesus like you would your best friend (Because He is) praise Him, tell Him you love Him, tell Him your problems. You don't have to have fancy words. Just say what is in your heart. You can pray (talk) to Jesus any place : home, work, school, church, driving, walking, sitting,...God is not limited by people being around or by the everyday distractions; ust put your heart into it, whether your words are few or many. he will help you...

2. Read God's word everyday. Start with just a few verses and ask God to help you understand. If you don't understand something in God's word, find another Christian to help. They could be a pastor, youth pastor, elder, another Christian you work with, anyway find someone. don't give up. God will help you.

3. Find a church that preaches Jesus Christ and that gives honor and glory to Him. Pray and God will lead you to the right church for you. Fellowship with other Christians.

4. Tell someone what Jesus has done for you. You can witness by how you talk and how you live unto Jesus.

5. Remember that Christ is there through all trials, sickness, and problems big or small. He will be with you in sadness, and pain. He shares in all your happiness and joys too. Love him. He loves you.
