Daylily
June 9th (2001) I started our daylily garden with just two half dead daylily that I purchased at Wal-Mart. One is called "Chicago Gown" and the other is called
They were half-priced so I thought I would take a chance. You can see the results here.
Daylily make good border flowers for my small grove of pine trees. They will get partial shade here and hopefully spread. Daylily are perennial (meaning they will come up year after year.) In recent years These usually bloom May through July----usually longer. They should be cut back after the first hard frost in September.
